MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING MT
■检测原理:铁磁性材料被磁化后,如果材料表面或近表面存在不连续性,部分磁力线会逸出材料表面,形成漏磁场。如果在工件上撒上磁粉,漏磁场就会吸附磁粉,形成与缺陷形状相近的磁粉堆积,称为磁痕,从而显示缺陷。
Principle: After the ferromagnetic material is magnetized, ifthere is discontinuity on the surface or near surface, part ofthe magnetic force lines will escape the surface of thematerial to form a leakage magnetic field. lf the magneticparticle is sprinkled on the workpiece, the leakage magneticfield will adsorb the magnetic particle and form a magneticparticle deposit similar to the shape of the defect, which iscalled a magnetic trace, thereby display the defects.
■适用的检测对象:铁磁性材料及其制品。
Application: ferromagnetic materials and their products.
■优点:磁痕能直观地显示缺陷的形状位置、大小、可大致判断缺陷的性质;对铁磁性材料的表面和近表面裂纹检测灵敏度很高。
Advantages: The magnetic trace can visually display theshape,location and size of the defect, and can roughlyjudge the nature ofthe defect; the sensitivityfor the surfaceand near surface crack detection of the ferromagneticmaterial is very high.
